About the Piece:

Not I, for the soprano and chamber ensemble is written for an Aria program, a collaboration with Tony Arnold’s Opera Etude class. The text derives from Samuel Beckett’s dramatic monologue Not I. The piece is a reflection on the stream of consciousness and voice sound explorations.
