About the Piece:

Elapsing means the passing of time The core material of Elapsing is the “time chromatic tetrachord motif”

The “time material” runs through the whole piece as inexhaustible kinetic energy on the basis of a fixed rhythm, and forms a longitudinal combination with other contrasting materials. Through variation of derivative development, the "time material" is layered with potential energy and finally returns to thinness and statis.

The work focuses on expressing the artistic conception and ideological state of poetic writing. The philosophy lies in warning and calling on people to value the momentary time and not to go astray in time.
